2026 — Community — Honoring Our Reservists
Wrapped in Appreciation
When I saw Yaniv Rivlin's post announcing an event for IDF reservists — orchestrated by Leumi Tech and Miluim Tech, with more than 420 reservists registered — I knew I wanted to be part of it. Yaniv, whom I know through the Hoffman Kofman Foundation, was volunteering his own time and experience for the community, and that spirit deserved to be matched.
I reached out and offered to donate wine for the evening. The goal was simple: to make the reservists feel wrapped, hugged, supported, and appreciated — to add warmth to an evening built for the people who keep showing up. Yaniv embraced the idea immediately, and the Lasting Echoes Malbec was poured for the crowd.

An Evening of Love and Music in Memory of Noam Avramovich
Before Lasting Echoes could begin, I went to the families. I wanted their blessing — their approval to carry the names and memory of their daughters into this project. It was through those conversations that my details found their way to Adva, Noam's mother. She reached out, and after we spoke, she asked if the Lasting Echoes Malbec could be part of an evening she was curating in Noam's memory.
On 14 May 2026, friends, family, and community gathered at Beit Hana in Tel Aviv — an evening of poetry, music, and love titled עוד יש נועם בעולם, "There is still Noam in the world." The wine on the tables that night was the same Malbec made for Lasting Echoes: grown in the Galilee, natural, made with intention — and now carrying yet another story inside it.
This is what wine can do. It travels. It finds the right rooms and the right people.
2025 — Charity Project
Lasting Echoes
A memorial wine honoring 18 young female observers who fell defending Nahal Oz base on October 7, 2023. Two wines — a Malbec and a Viognier — sourced from Galilee vineyards, with labels bearing artwork derived from graffiti found in the bunker where they served.
Every bottle sold is an act of remembrance. 100% of profits are donated to a registered association in their memory.

2021 — First Harvest — Cancer Research
The Beginning
Seen here are the views north and east from the 3 Vines Winery in Ramot Naftali.
The harvest that started it all. A Petit Verdo and a Cabernet Sauvignon — two varieties I intended to blend, until I tasted them separately and realised each had its own voice. They were bottled as single varietals, and the proceeds were donated to cancer research.
This was the inception of the Ben Barak Wine Initiative.

✦ Fun fact: I had originally set out to recreate Keren Naftali — a blend my father Yossi made in 2013, named after the mountain peak overlooking the Hula Valley. The wine took a different path, but the inspiration remains.
